Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said some opposition parties are trying to take advantage of the Jallikattu protests and trying to create anti-Centre sentiments.
Naidu said the Central Government is sensitive to the sentiments and cultural ethos of the people of Tamil Nadu.
"I have full sympathy for the people from art and literature and other walks of life who are genuinely feeling that this (Jallikattu) should be allowed.
But these people (Opposition) are trying to politicise and that is why I would like to appeal to all these youngsters to call off the agitation and resume to studies.
