Patty Jenkins dons ‘Wonder Woman’ cuff at AFI event

Los Angeles [U.S.A.], June 14 : After taking the global Box-Office by storm with her maiden superheroine movie 'Wonder Woman,' it seems like director Patty Jenkins cannot get enough of the Amazon and its princess.

At the red carpet of American Film Institute's (AFI) Lifetime Achievement Award event, the 45-year-old director was seen striking a 'Wonder Woman'-approved pose to show off her new accessory - a gold arm cuff.

The cuff was similar to the one the Amazonian princess wore in the film. In the film, she uses it to knock Antiope backward during their training session, when she first realises her own power.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenkins brought it for Barneys New York during her film's opening weekend, despite thinking it was "too much" at first, adding, "It was made by Loewe [Jewelry].

Just a gorgeous piece I love." The piece is now on sale for 375 USD at Net-a-Porter. Meanwhile, 'Wonder Woman' continues its impressive run at the global Box-Office burying Tom Cruise-starrer 'The Mummy' at the U.S.

and the U.K. Box-Office..
