Rahul Gandhi adamant on PM Modi’s presence in Parliament

New Delhi [India], Nov. 28: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday reiterated his demanded for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's presence in Parliament to discuss and give an explanation on the demonetisation issue.

"Let the PM come and talk to us inside the house," Gandhi said. Gandhi and others were protesting in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex. Earlier, the opposition parties held a meeting inside the Parliament. Justifying his demonetisation decision, Prime Minister had earlier in an event to mark Constitution Day on Friday said the people questioning his move were those who didn't get time to make any preparation.

The Prime Minister's comments provoked protests from the opposition..
