Ruby Rose reaches out to her fans, speaks about cancelling tour dates

Washington D.C, Aug. 7 : Model-turned DJ Ruby Rose, who was quizzed by her disappointed fans on social media for abruptly cancelling tour dates, has explained her decision to opt out of the shows and said she is down with tonsillitis "Tonsilitis and unable to fly because of the pain it's causing my ears.

Means no more shows and I have to stay put before returning home sorry guys. I didn't even know you could get tonsillitis after like, 16," 'the Orange is the New Black' Star tweeted.

Owing the major reason of her illness to her demanding schedule, the 30-year-old model said that her busy routine also kept her away from the U.K.

pride festival, reports E!Online. Following it was a series of tweets having explanations and justifications from her end. "It's upsetting to see people questioning me getting tonsilitis .. And cancelling 2 of 15 shows in a month..Off the back of filming a movie..," the Australian native tweeted.

She also dismissed claims that her lifestyle was to blame saying, "But I don't party, I've not been to one club except when playing here and I've had a 3 day vacation with childhood friends I flew out.Where we slept, watched movies and went to the beach. I dont drink as everyone knows, I'm run down and got tonsillitis its that simple." She concluded with one final clarification of the incident, tweeting, "I dont care what 'people think' but I wanted to clear it up for the fans.
