Dhaka [Bangladesh], Oct. 18 : Bangladesh law enforcers have claimed to have detained seven members of the banned Jama'tul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) with gold ornaments weighing 67 tolas along with arms.
The men were arrested in Dhaka last night and were found in possession of four firearms, minimum 10 bullets and sharp weapons including nine machetes, according to a text message floated to media from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today, reports the daily star.
A team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit under the DMP conducted a drive in Tejgaon area and detained them, the message said.
A press briefing will be held in this regard later in the day..
