There cannot be exchange of culture when there’s exchange of bullets, says Ajay Devgn

New Delhi [India], Oct. 9 : Joining several others from B-town in giving an opinion about the ban on Pakistan artistes is actor Ajay Devgn.

According to a leading news channel, the 47-year-old Bollywood star said sending the actors back to their native land was the need of the day, reports Pinkvilla.

"There cannot be an exchange of culture when there is an exchange of bullets going on. I can understand people get scared about taking political stands. But this is not a political issue," said the 'Drishyam' star. When asked about his take on celebs opposing the ban, he said "It's not a question of choice. It is what it is. You have to understand that nation always comes first. What the nation is going through, what are army people are going through, I think we all have to be together and we are together.

"Where does an artist come from? Artist comes from a country. For example, you ask me where is Bruce Willis from, I will say USA. Your first identity is the country," he added. Pretty impressed with his hubby way to tackle the question, Kajol later tweeted, "So proud of my husband for taking a non political and absolutely correct stand.

@ajaydevgn #ProudIndian." On the professional front, Ajay will next be seen in his own directorial 'Shivaay' along with Sayyeshaa Saigal, and Erika Kaar.

The movie is scheduled to release on October 28..
