Trailer out: PINK stands for women empowerment

New Delhi, Aug. 9 : Finally, the trailer of the much awaited Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'PINK' is out and all the title speaks about is women empowerment.

When the 73-year-old actor was asked about the thought behind such a unique title, he said, "Pink stands for women empowerment.

Hence it is titled the same. Women are not respected in the society which they should stand up against." The Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed and Shoojit Sircar produced movie also stars Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi.

Further talking about the movie, Big-B said, "I am proud of this film. There are a very few films which you believe in. I trust this story and the character." The film will see Bachchan as a lawyer, in regard to which he said, "I have not been inside a court except once to defend myself during Bofors.

But the research for my character was done well." 'PINK' is slated to hit the theatres on September 16.
