Two killed in military hospital terror attack in Kabul

Kabul [Afghanistan], Mar. 8 : At least two people have reportedly been killed and 15 others injured in a terror attack on Sardar M.

Daud Khan Hospital in Kabul on Wednesday. "#Kabul: Doctors say two people were killed and 15 others wounded in attack on Sardar M. Daud Khan Hospital in Kabul," Tolo News tweeted. At least five suicide bombers have reportedly attacked the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital, also known as army hospital, in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan area on the outskirts of Kabul.

Earlier, an explosion was reportedly heard near the same military hospital. A group of attackers had reportedly entered the hospital following the blast at the main gate of the health facility in Kabul on Wednesday morning.

Tolo News quoted sources as saying that a gun battle is underway between security forces and the attackers inside the hospital.

No terror group, including Taliban, has yet claimed the responsibility for the attack..
