#WeAreEqual: Big B roots for gender equality

New Delhi [India], Mar. 2 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has given us another reason to love him even more! The 74-year-old has announced on social media that he plans to leave an equal share of his wealth to his daughter and son - in the interest of gender equality.

Big B shared a photograph of himself holding a card, which read: "When I die, my assets will be equally shared between my daughter and my son..Gender equality... We are equal." The 'Pink' star, who is a United Nations Ambassador for Girl Child, shared the same image on his official blog and wrote: "The office of the public servants that promote various campaigns are keen for this..And so I do it... Though talking about it and exhibiting its plea is hesitating for me". On a related note, the superstar is gearing up for the release of 'Sarkar 3' that hits the big screens on April 7 and also stars Jackie Shroff, Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh and Manoj Bajpayee.
