#12YearsOfBlack: Big B reminisces the ‘amazing’ experience

New Delhi [India], Feb. 4 : As the highly acclaimed Sanjay Leela Bhansali- directorial 'Black' turns 12 today, megastar Amitabh Bachchan gets nostalgic and describes the experience of working in the flick as 'amazing'.

Big B took to Twitter to mark '12 years of 'Black' and even applauded the ace director. "12 YEARS OF "BLACK" ..!! An amazing film an amazing experience ..!! An amazing director Sanjay Leela Bhansali !!," he tweeted.

The 'PINK' star also praised Ranbir Kapoor, assistant to Bhansali, as he posted, "12 years of BLACK .Ranbir Kapoor was an assistant to SLB on this film.. trained Ayesha the young Rani, for the role ..!! and now" Debraj Sahai, an alcoholic teacher for a blind, deaf and mute girl suffering from Alzheimer's, can easily be regarded as one of the best characters portrayed by the 'Piku' star.

He also won the much-deserved National Award for the film, second in his career. Also, the film was screened at the Casablanca Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India and won the Filmfare Award for best film.

Time Magazine (Europe) selected the movie as one of the 10 Best Movies of the Year 2005 from around the globe.
