New Delhi [India], Feb. 10 : ACC, on Friday, approved the appointment of Ajay Tyagi as the new chief of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
An IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre (1984-batch), Tyagi served as Additional Secretary for Economic Affairs in the Finance Ministry, since 2014.
Tyagi will be taking over from UK Sinha..
