Art and culture have no boundaries: Sharad Yadav on Pakistan artistes row

New Delhi [India], Oct. 3 : Asserting that art and culture have no boundaries, former Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav has denounced the propagandist villification of Pakistani actors.

Yadav said,"Art and culture have no boundaries and the way this propaganda has emerged against Pakistani actors is wrong and means nothing.

To stop actors or anybody related to the creative field is utterly wrong." Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Yogi Aditya Nath said, "Our fight is not against art and culture, it is against terrorism." Bollywood actor Salman Khan said, "They are artistes and not terrorists".

Post the Uri attack, Pakistan actors were given a 48-hour "deadline" by the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to leave the country.
