Bring ‘parivartan’ in yourself before launching it in UP: Congress to BJP

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Nov. 7 : The Congress on Monday took a jibe at Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) 'Parivartan Yatra' and said if the leaders of the saffron party really want to bring 'Parivartan' then first they have to bring change within themselves.

"If they really want to change something then first they have to bring change inside themselves and accept in front of public that they made false promises.

Then only they will be able to regain the trust of the people of Uttar Pradesh," Congress leader Vijendra Tripathi told ANI.

Tripathi further said that BJP has only made false promises in past two and a half years and have failed to perform on grounds and added that the reality of BJP is known to all.

On Sunday, in the wake of upcoming assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, BJP initiated the Parivartan Rath Yatra from Bundelkhand.

This Yatra is to pass through entire Bundelkhand before entering Kannauj, Mainpuri, Jaswant Nagar, Badaun and Firozabad all strongholds of leaders of ruling SP's first family.

Two more Parivartan Rath Yatras will be taken out, one from Sonbhadra and another from Ballia on 8th and 9th November respectively.

These Parivartan Rath Yatras will cross-cross all the 403 assembly constituencies in next fifty days before culminating at Lucknow on December 24 where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a mega rally.
