Cashless economy or ‘Acche Din’ nobody knows when it will come true: Akhilesh Yadav

New Delhi, [India] Dec. 24: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday criticised the Centre's demonetisation drive, saying the Prime Minister's cashless economy is like a dream of 'Acche Din' and nobody knows when it will come true.

"Cashless economy is like a dream of 'Acche Din' nobody knows when it will come true. Money is not black or white; the transactions are," Yadav gave the statement while presenting compensation cheques to the kins of those who allegedly died in ATM queues post the demonetisation drive.

Yadav said that the entire nation is facing problems due to the government's drive and will surely get a chance to take revenge.

"Uttar Pradesh will go for election shortly, and those who have been affected by this move will surely take a stand against it," he warned.

"The government has cheated with the economy in the name of demonetisation," he added..
