Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mar. 18 : While talking about her experience in upcoming flick 'Phillauri', debutant Mehreen Pirzada was all praise for Anushka Sharma for giving newcomers a chance to showcase their talent.
While talking to ANI, Pirzada said, "It was one amazing experience and I really want to thank Anushka and everybody for getting me onboard for this film.
When I got selected, I din't even try to read the script and I'm so glad that people are loving its trailer." "The best part about Anushka is she is not from Bollywood background and is giving opportunity to new comers to act in her film.
Film director,a singer and me, we all are new in the movie and its an opportunity for us to showcase our talent," she added.
'Life of Pi' fame Suraj Sharma, who will be seen as a young man who meets a friendly spirit (Anushka Sharma) after he reluctantly marries a tree to ward off any threats to his love life, too said, "Starting from the point I read the script, right till the end, it has been a great experience and working with Anushka is been amazing." 'Phillauri,' also starring Diljit Dosanjh, is scheduled for release on March 24.
