Hyderabad, Oct. 27 : Emphasizing on the need to deploy all modern tools to combat terrorism efficiently, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday dubbed this menace a great curse on the present-day society.
Addressing the 68th batch of IPS probationers, who completed their 45-week long training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy here, Jaitley said new areas are emerging in crime like cyber crime and narcotics and asked the police professionals to train themselves up to date to face the emerging challenges.
The Finance Minister asked the IPS probationers to have humility, compassion and commitment while discharging their duties.
He also asked them to always maintain credibility while serving the people. Earlier, Jaitley took salute from the passing out IPS probationers and inspected the march past..
