New Delhi [India], Mar. 25 : It is every cricketer's dream to be acknowledged by Sachin Tendulkar, and spinner Kuldeep Yadav who made his Test debut against Australia today, was showered with praises by the cricket legend as he weaved a wrist spinner's web around the tourists during the decisive fourth Test in Dharamsala.
Taking to Twitter, Tendulkar expressed his admiration for the young bowler who managed to scalp three crucial wickets and spin Australia into trouble.
Kuldeep, who came in as a replacement for injured skipper Virat Kohli, claimed the wickets of David Warner, Handscombe and Glenn Maxwell.
Kuldeep took three scalps in the post lunch session today, restricting Austalia at 208 for 6 at tea in their first innings.
He was ably assisted by pacer Umesh Yadav who took two wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin took one wicket. Australian innings were held together by its Captain Smith, who scored a steady century and opener Warner, who chipped in beautiful 56 runs before being sent to the dressing room.
The duo shared a 134 run second wicket partnership. Earlier, Australian captain Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bat. India is playing without an injured skipper Virat Kohli, and is led by middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane.
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav made his Test debut as India went back to five bowler theory with Bhuvneshwar Kumar replacing Ishant Sharma.
