New Delhi [India], Dec. 6 : Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector General (IG) Rakesh Kumar Mishra, a 1986-batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
National Investigation Agency IG V.S. Kaumudi, a 1986-batch IPS officer of the Andhra cadre, has been promoted to the position of NIA ADG. Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR (and) D) IG Abhay, a 1986-batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre, has been appointed as the ADG, CRPF.
CRPF IG Dr. N. C. Asthana, 1986-batch IPS officer of Kerala cadre, has been promoted as (KL:86), IG, CRPF as ADG, CRPF.
BSF IG Kamal Nayan Choubey, 1986-batch IPS officer of Jharkhand cared, has been appointed as ADG, Border Security Force (BSF).
The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of IPS officers presently working as Inspectors General to the Post of Additional Directors General against the existing vacancy.
