Four more positive case in Gurugram

Gurugram, April 23 : Fresh Covid-19 cases continue to emerge in Gurugram for the last three days, taking the tally to 45 on Thursday.

The fresh cases were reported from Jharsa village located near sector 31, Sector 39, Om Vihar near Rajiv Chowk and Sector 10.

More alarmingly, all these places are within a radius of 2 to 3 km from each other.

Health officials had taken the samples three days ago and sent them to virology department at PGI Rohtak.

Following reports, they were admitted to different hospitals of Gurugram and their family members are also directed for home quarantine.

The district administration has declared entire area as containment zone.

Dr J.S. Punia, the civil Surgeon of Gurugram, said: The authorities have been asked to start sanitizing in affected areas.

We have a total of 45 positive cases so far and 26 of them have managed to recover from illness."

So far, two senior citizens of Haryana have lost their lives after they were infected with Covid-19 in Gurugram city.
