Indian Army won’t tolerate any brutality: BJP

New Delhi [India], Oct. 30 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Satypal Singh on Sunday hailed the valor of the Indian Army and appreciated the retaliatory action against Pakistan.

The former top cop also extended Diwali greetings to the countrymen and the soldiers serving the nation.

"Our Indian Army is very capable and they have shown that they are not going to tolerate any brutality being inflicted on our Indian soldiers across the border whether by Pakistani terrorists or by the Pakistan Army," he said.

"On the occasion of Diwali, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all countrymen and especially to our army officers and men who have done wonder and protected this country for long," he added.

A day after an Indian soldier's body was mutilated by Pakistan-based terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC), the Army on Saturday launched retaliatory fire assaults at Pakistan Army positions, inflicting massive damage across the border.

At least four Pakistan Army posts were destroyed "in a massive fire assault" in the Keran sector alone yesterday.
