Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Jan. 16 : The security forces on Monday shot dead all the three militants in the gunfight, which began yesterday in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir's Awoora village.
The slain militants have been identified as Adil Ahmad Reshi of Bijbehara, Abid Ahmad Sheikh of Satkipora and Masood Ahmad Shah of Bewoora.
According to sources, the three were affiliated with the Hizbul Mujahideen. The gunfight began yesterday after the security forces began search operation in Awoora village..
