Visakhapatnam [India], Oct.29 : India have won the toss and opted to bat first in the series-decider fifth Test against New Zealand here at the Dr.
Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium here on Saturday. After winning the toss, India's limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said, "A bit of swing because of the humidity.
It's a decider, makes it more interesting and it will give plenty of experience to the youngsters. As a batting unit, we have not played up to potential." His New Zealand counterpart Kane Williamson, on the other hand, said the surface looked good before adding that they need to make a strong start by bowling well.
"We expect some dew. Improving is the main thing and we have done that in the ODIs after the Tests. Hopefully we can restrict India to a small total. Tough to read surfaces here, especially with the dew," he said. In the high-octane match, India will aim to showcase that they are still a dominant force in the 50-over cricket, whereas the visitors will seek to script history by clinching their first ODI series in India.

The Black Caps have brought in Corey Anderson in place of Anton Devcich. The five-match series is currently levelled at 2-2 following India's 19-run defeat against the Kiwis in the third match in Ranchi.
