Jugnoo, Freecharge tie-up to ease payment processes

New Delhi [India], Sep 16 : India's leading auto-rickshaw aggregator Jugnoo has announced its partnership with Freecharge, India's fastest growing digital payments platform to ease the payment process of commuters via the latter's swift and secure digital wallet.

This partnership will enable more than 12, 000 auto-rickshaws across 40 cities in India to go cashless by opting the Freecharge wallet option.

It will also help in augmenting Jugnoo's services and maximizing its business reach across the subcontinent.

Furthermore, this latest service will play a vital role in encouraging customers to go cashless for their daily commute.

"This association will give us access to 3.5 million user base of Jugnoo thereby giving us an opportunity to further influence daily habits of consumers to move from cash to digital payments," added Tandon.

With its user base of 3.5 million, Jugnoo is currently recording an average of 40,000 daily transactions.

Moreover, with Freecharge's focus on creating a great UI/UX experience for customers to help them move away from cash to e-cash, Jugnoo can leverage the best-in-class payment gateway from the former, and offer a swift and secure way of daily commute to its customers.
