Bengaluru, June 18 : Product engineering and digital transformation solutions provider Sasken Technologies on Monday announced the appointment of Mihir Kumar as head of the company's industrials business unit.
Prior to joining Bengaluru-headquartered Sasken as Senior Vice President and Head, Industrials Business Unit, Kumar led the industrials and aerospace business in Americas for Larsen (and) Toubro Infotech (LTI).
In addition, he was responsible for leading the market development of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) practice at LTI.
Before LTI, Kumar worked at Infosys for more than 18 years, where he set up and led the growth of the aerospace and industrial conglomerates segments.
"I look forward to working with the team here and strengthening Sasken's efforts in the Industrials business," Kumar said on his appointment.
"The industrials space is transforming with machines becoming intelligent and digitally managed, operations getting augmented by augmented reality/ Artificial Intelligence (AR/AI) and analytics, and plants becoming dynamic and data-driven," Kumar added.
Kumar brings with him more than two decades of experience spanning across product engineering, digital transformation and IT services.
