Mutilation of Indian soldier requires firm response: Shiv sena

Mumbai [India], Oct. 29 : Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande on Saturday said India needs to give a firm and telling response to Pakistan for the barbaric mutilation of an Indian soldier.

"Some time ago our soldiers were beheaded and this is the second very barbaric incident that has occurred after many years and on behalf of the Shiv Sena it is condemned in strong words.

We condemn this incident and warn Pakistan that they should resist such type of activities," Kayande told ANI.

"India needs to take strong and stringent action against Pakistan. In the Saurabh Kalia's incident also, his body was also very brutally mutilated. India needs to be proactive. It may be in the form of surgical strikes, diplomatic ties, cutting of cultural ties or trade relations with Pakistan," she added.

On Friday night, a BSF soldier lost his life in the Machhal sector, along the Line of Control. Meanwhile, heavy mortar shelling by Pakistan has been reported in Kathua and Abdullian areas of the RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Indian troops are giving a befitting response to the ceasefire violations initiated by Pakistan. Ever since the Indian Army on September 29th carried out surgical strikes targeting terror launch pads in PoK, ceasefire violations are a daily norm along the LoC and five Indians, including four security personnel, have been killed and 34 injured since.

On October 21, the BSF killed seven Pakistan Rangers and a terrorist in Kathua and on October 25, around three Pakistani Army personnel were reportedly killed in retaliatory firing by Indian troops in the Noushera sector of Rajouri district.
