Nabha jailbreak mastermind Parminder sent to 14-day judicial remand

Shamli [India], Nov. 28 : Parminder Singh, mastermind of the Nabha jailbreak in which Khalistani terrorist Harminder Singh alias Mintoo and four others escaped, was send to 14-day judicial remand.

The Shamli Police has filed a case under Section 353,420,467,468,471 of IPC. And 25/27 Arms Act also. Parminder Singh, one of 10 Nabha jail attackers, was arrested from Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday and a huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from his possession.

Earlier today, the 49-year old Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) chief Harminder Singh who escaped from the Nabha high security prison on Sunday, was caught by the Delhi police on a tip-off by the Punjab police at New Delhi railway station.

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also spoke to the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and apprised him of the details of the incident.

He updated the NSA on steps being taken to apprehend the culprits. The Punjab Government has suspended the Director General (Jails) and dismissed the Nabha Jail superintendent and deputy jail superintendent and set up a special task force to look into the Nabha jailbreak incident.
