Ola Outstation brings ‘one-way’ trip fares to Delhi NCR; connects 50 cities

New Delhi [India], Dec 27 : Mobile app for transportation Ola on Tuesday announced the launch of its 'One way' trip fares on Ola Outstation, covering over 50 key cities from Delhi NCR.

With this, Ola Outstation becomes the only inter-city mobility solution providing rides to over 50 destinations from Delhi NCR, on one way trip fares.

Bringing more flexibility, convenience and cost-effectiveness to the recently launched Ola Outstation; the introduction of 'One-way' fares allows customers to avail one-way bookings at reduced fares.

From Delhi NCR, Ola Outstation provides one way trip fare rides to most sought after tourist locations like Agra, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Dehradun; popular pilgrimage locations like Mathura, Haridwar and Kurukshetra; and major industrial zones like Meerut, Sonipat, Bhiwadi and Bawal to name a few.

"We are aiming to make outstation travel as convenient and reliable as daily commute. While the Outstation in itself is extremely affordable, the added advantage of 'One-Way' fares makes it much more effective and sustainable, reaching out to a larger use case," said Business Head North at Ola, Deep Singh.

"Through Ola Outstation, we are now connecting over 50 cities and are charging one way trip fares, putting Ola ahead of all others in the intercity transportation segment," added Singh.

How does Ola Outstation work? The booking process for Outstation remains the same as booking an Ola Micro or Ola Mini for travel within the city.

The user needs to select 'Outstation' from the category list displayed at the base of the Ola app. Upon selecting the category and filling in the destination details, the user will have to fill in the date and time at which he/she would like to avail the service.

Post that, the user needs to book from the packages and cab category of his/her choice..
