Agra [U.P], Nov. 20 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Pradhanmantri Grameen Awas Yojna, an ambitious housing scheme meant for rural poor in Agra today.
The housing scheme is expected to provide affordable houses to all those living below the poverty line by the year 2022.
The Prime Minister will also distribute allotment letters to 50 beneficiaries of the scheme which aims to provide about 3 crore new housing units countrywide.
Prime Minister Modi will also address a large gathering of the BJP supporters in the afternoon, kick starting the party's electoral campaign in the region for the next year Assembly elections.
