Pro-Trump groups hold rallies across U.S, clash with anti-Trump groups

New York [U.S.], Mar. 5 : In order to counter the protest against U.S. President Donald Trump that has been taking place since his election in November, a series of small rallies are being organised by the pro-Trump group across the country.

It is being organised by Main Street Patriots, a Tea Party group, and Gays for Trump, which formed during Trump's presidential campaign.

The Pro-Trump rallies are taking place in 60 cities. Around 100 of Trump supporters arrived at the Trump Tower wearing "Make America Great Again" hats. While others waved Trump flags where one man had a blue sign which said, "Stop bashing Trump." Another supporter's sign read, "Yes! You are our president! Not 4.

But 8 years! We are all behind you!" "We just want people to know President Trump has support. He's under attack and when somebody's under attack it's nice to know that people out there have their back," The Guardian quoted a member from the Main Street Patriots, Debbie Dooley.

Soon anti-Trump protesters arrived, reportedly, chanting, "No Trump, No KKK, No Fascist USA," and waved signs as, "Not Fit to Serve - No Mandate." "I would like to see America get its sense back again.

I'd like to see these people realize they were lied to. He doesn't care about the poor man. He only cares about his billionaire buddies." the Guardian quoted an-anti Trump protestor, Mari Gustafson.

Reportedly, clash erupted between the two sides as several hundred people began resorting to chanting and name-calling as well as opposing activists.

In February, Trump suggested that people should hold their own rally to counter rallies held against him.

"Maybe the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN should have their own rally. It would be the biggest of them all!" he tweeted..
