Rajnath Singh meets different delegations in Srinagar
Srinagar, July 23 : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a two-day visit to Srinagar to take stock of the prevailing situation in the state, on Saturday held meetings with several delegations, including representatives from different communities and industries. Singh, who arrived here today, met about fifteen different delegations representing Sikh community, Kashmiri Pandits, Imams, fruit growers, Chamber of Commerce, Youth, Horticulture and Tourism and Hospitality industry and entrepreneurs. In addition to various delegations, the Home Minister also met several individuals in Nehru Guest House today. The Home Minister will be meeting delegations of political parties tomorrow, along with Central and State security agencies. Meanwhile in Jammu and Kashmir, the curfew and restriction remain in force across Kashmir on 15th consecutive day in view of continuous shut down call by separatists and prevailing law and order situation. The centre has already sent over 3,000 paramilitary troops to the state to assist the state government restore peace in the trouble-torn valley.
