Sant Chatwal hopeful of “great friend of India” Clinton’s victory

New York [USA], Nov. 9 : Expressing hope over the victory of Democrat Hillary Clinton in the US presidential elections, Indian American businessman Sant Singh Chatwal said that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) clearing her name has greatly helped her campaign before the final day.

"The FBI Director (James Comey) cleared the whole thing on Sunday. Today 130 million people are going to vote. If you look state wise, the swing states that are some concern, there the voting makes a lot of difference.

Most of the Indo-Americans we talked said only Hillary can help us with immigration, education," Chatwal told ANI, adding that Clinton has already proven to be a great friend of India.

He said the present statistics show inclination towards Hillary's win. "The way numbers are showing, when you look at Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Nevada, the numbers there look really very good.

Having met Hillary this morning, I could see she is feeling very confident," he added. FBI Director James Comey informed lawmakers earlier on Sunday that the agency has not changed its opinion that Clinton should not face criminal charges after a review of the new e-mails.
