Sex scandals are common within AAP: BJP

New Delhi, [India], Sept. 6 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday trained guns at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after senior leader Ashutosh backed tainted minister Sandeep Kumar, saying its seems like sex scandals are common in the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led party.

BJP leader Vijender Gupta said there is no internal democracy or transparency within the AAP and any voice which is anti-AAP is curbed and shamed.

"The kind of article Ashutosh has written shows that the AAP promotes sex scandals. Even Kejriwal ji has not given any reaction on Ashutosh's stand. Colonel Devinder Sehrawat has also made it clear in his statements that there are many leader like Sandeep Kumar in AAP, who are designated on coveted posts in the government and the party," said Singh.

"What is much worse is that if someone is trying to raise his voice against the increase malice in the party, that person is being ostracised from the party, cases are being registered against them.

This makes it clear that neither there is internal democracy in the party, nor fairness or transparency.

This also shows that sex scandals are common in this party," he added. Ashutosh in a blog had referred to the reported relationships of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru with women to defend Kumar over the "objectionable" CD showing him in a compromising position with a woman and claimed that he was sacked as a minister for "perception management." Delhi Police has registered a complaint against Ashutosh for his remarks in his blog defending Kumar facing the charge of rape.
