Taylor Swift not happy with Demi Lovato slamming her squad

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 5 : Demi Lovato's recent controversial remarks regarding Taylor Swift and her famous squad seems to have peeved the latter.

According to E! Online, the '1989' singer is not happy with the 24-year-old's comments, where she criticized Swift's close friends by saying, "I don't see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body.

It's kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it's not real." The '22' singer's 'girl squad' includes famed actresses, successful models and singers like Cara Delevingne, Martha Hunt, Gigi Hadid, Brittiany LaManna, Halston Sage, Abigail Anderson, Alana Haim, Ruby Rose, Karlie Kloss, Harley Gusman, Kendall Jenner, Blake Lively and more.

"Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others' back and sometimes people just want that," said a source.

"She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends," the source added. The 'Cool for the Summer' singer had also reportedly spoken out against Swift's ongoing feud with Katy Perry, saying, "I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that's not women's empowerment," she said of the song, 'Bad Blood.' The former Disney star was reportedly at the receiving-end of a lot of backlash from Twitter users who disagreed with her.

In her defense, Lovato tweeted, "I get asked questions. I answer them. Sue me." "Also don't forget that words can be taken out of context when doing interviews... still not apologizing for saying what everyone wants to say," the 'Confident' singer added..
