Tripura TMC to observe Sept. 23 as ‘Day of Integrity’

Agartala (Tripura) [India], Sept.13 : Tripura Pradesh Youth Trinamool Congress (TPYTMC) is going to observe September 23 as 'Day of Integrity' between the tribal and non-tribal section of people of the state, declared the president of the organization Sushanta Chowdhury.

This is in protest against the alleged ruling CPIM-conspired clash between the two section of people in Agartala on the same day a month back.

To take part in the programme, TPYTMC national president and MP Abhishek Banerjee, along with other TMC leaders and the party's vice president Mukul Roy, is arriving here on that day said, Chowdhury during a press conference.

He alleged that the ruling CPIM led Left Front, which is in power for the last 23 years, as accordance to it design, and has miserable failed in providing employment and quality education in the state and due to which the youths are frustrated.

The TMC will launch state-wide agitation against this, declared the young TMC leader who recently left the Congress in protest against the CPIM-Congress alliance in last assembly election in West Bengal.

The TMC leader also raised the case of termination of job 10,323 government teachers, which at present, is in the Supreme Court after the Tripura High Court had ordered to terminate those jobs for violating the union government guideline of appointing teacher through TET.

Choudhury alleged that the central government norms were intentionally violated to favour under qualified party cadres in the teacher job.
