Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 2 : Bengal Hockey Association hammered Hockey Puducherry 12-0 as the 7th Junior National Hockey Championship 2017 (Women) 'B' Division concluded its final round of pool games here on Tuesday.
Supriya Bahadur scored five superb goals (19', 23', 61', 63', 69') in their victory. Hockey Himachal beat Hockey Gujarat 14-0 in Pool B. Madhu scored seven goals (11', 15', 22', 36', 63', 64', 67') and Lakshmi (42', 44', 52') got a hat trick in their victory.
Hockey Andhra Pradesh beat Kerala Hockey 5-2 in Pool A. Goals for Hockey Andhra Pradesh were scored by Spandana Bokam (14', 33'), Mary Lotla (17') and Jyothi Pilligoila (44', 57').
Kerala Hockey's goals were scored by Kochu Thresia (60') and KV Aiswariya (63'). Manipur Hockey beat Hockey Jammu (and) Kashmir 7-0 in Pool B. Captain Pushpa Devi scored a brace (19', 22') in Manipur Hockey's dominant display. Hockey Bihar beat Hockey Rajasthan 3-0, thanks to a brace from Navneet Kaur (66', 69')..
