New Delhi [India], Sept. 9 : Despite of having a hi-profile debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 2011's blockbuster 'Rockstar', the sexy Nargis Fakhri recently stated that she doesn't believe that she is successful, and the reason she puts forward is her being "not happy." "I don't believe I am successful because I am not happy.
Because I don't get to see my friends and family as often as I would like to. If I can see them and still balance my job then I might consider myself successful," she said in an interview with Filmfare.
Viewing success sentimentally, the 'Housefull 3' actress explained, "Right now, I'm trying to figure out and restructure my life in a way that I work less and spend more time with my family.
When I grow old, who is going to be there for me apart from my family and my friends? Life is nothing without them.
You make money, you're famous but if you have no one by your side, someone who truly loves and cares for you..you're nothing." Nargis also took the opportunity to open up about how she has been facing difficulties in making friends in the tinsel town.
"I have no friends here. Friendship is a two-way thing. It takes efforts by both sides to forge a friendship. I do feel lonely and most of the times I talk to myself," she said. Counting her managers, driver and her domestic staff as friends, Nargis said, "I spend so much time with them.
In fact, I even help my maid clean up." She added that her 'real friends' are abroad. "I visit them and keep in touch or else I will lose the closeness," she sid conceding that friendships are hard to come by in B-Town.
On a related note the actress recently went through a break-up with Uday Chopra that became much of a public affair.
As per reports, after the split she went to New York. Nargis also disclosed her future plans beyond Bollywood and said, "I'm obsessed with Ayurveda and natural healing.
I'd like to work on documentaries too. I'd like to have a farm. I want it to be a holistic bed and breakfast place where people can relax and heal and get away from this kind of life.
I'd like to grow organic stuff there. I want to inspire and motivate other human beings in every way possible." On the workfront, the 'Madras Cafe' actress will be next seen in Ravi Jadhav's directorial 'Banjo' opposite Riteish Deshmukh, slated for a September 23 release.
