New Delhi [India], Oct. 11 : Sub Lt Tejveer Singh of the Indian Navy, who hails from Haryana, died after he shot himself "accidently" while handling firearms onboard INS Kuthar.
According to reports, the 24-year-old officer "accidently" fired at himself Tuesday evening, and was immediately shifted to a Naval Hospital, INHS Kalyani, in Vishapatnam, however, he succumbed to his injuries.
The family of the naval officer has been informed about the incident. Meanwhile, a Board of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the matter..
