^New Delhi [India], Oct 20 : As protest in the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) turns volatile with students blocking the administrative building and locking up the vice-chancellor and other officials over the missing student, Union Minister MN Pandey said that the institution authorities and the police are taking the necessary steps and doing the needful.
